10 Weeks Festival

Patrons at one of the more than 100 arts events that take place during The 10 Weeks Festival may see an Arts in Action envelope in the event program or be asked to donate $1 or more at Arts in Action donation boxes. Arts supporters also can give online for the 10 Weeks Festival.

Proceeds from the Festival are divided equally between the Arts in Education Endowment Fund to provide funds to arts organizations to take their programs into area schools and the Care to Learn Fund established to help meet basic hunger, health, and hygiene of students at participating schools.

GET IN, IN 10!

“The 10 Weeks - Arts in Action” Festival, led by the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, helps sustain the arts for Springfield and the surrounding region.  Conceived by our community’s arts organizations and universities, the program brings Springfield’s cultural offerings under one brand to raise money for arts education and meet basic needs for children in Springfield Public Schools through a partnership with the “Care to Learn” program.

10 Weeks Festival
exceeds $10,000 Goal!

Thanks to all of our "10 Weeks" agency partners, performing and visual arts organizations and patrons who made this year's programming a success.  The campaign surpassed its goal through a generous contribution made by Dr. Gloria Galanes, who serves on the Community Foundation of the Ozarks Board as well as the Arts Programming Sustainability Initiative Panel.

Additional contributions can be made to further increase the current, $10,305.00 total and support quality arts education and “Care to Learn”  by donating $1.00 or more, using the Community Foundation of the Ozarks "Give Online" link.
